Collections

One of the main and especially significant place in the museum collection of Elbasy’s Library has the award collection of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It includes the highest state awards and the public awards collections.

The highest state awards collection consists of the following groups:

1) the state awards of the USSR;

2) the state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) the foreign states awards.

The public awards collection is subdivided to the following groups:

1) jubilee medals, academic ranks, honorary titles;

Collection of goods made of precious metals and precious stones includes the following thematic groups:

1) souvenirs and compositions: table decorations, panels, miniatures and models, souvenir sets, sculptures and figurines, maps, cult souvenirs;

2) jewellery: scepters and baculuses, women's jewelry, women's and men's belts, horse equipment;

Weapon and ammunition collection is divided to the following groups:

Numismatics collection includes the following thematic groups:

1) numismatics: coins, souvenir coins;

2) notaphily: banknotes and bonds, in albums, as panels;

3) phaleristic: medals, breastplates, badges, sports medals;

4) philately: post stamps, post envelopes, postcards, as panels, as albums;

5) heraldry: coats of arms, miniatures of coats of arms, as souvenirs;

6) table medals: commemorative, anniversary, presentation, posters, as souvenirs;

7) sphragistics: seals, stamps.

Collection of souvenir goods includes the following thematic groups:
1) decorative plates;
2) souvenir panels: memorial plates, memorial boards, welcome letters, panels;
3) memorial souvenirs: table souvenirs, compositions, figurines, steles, symbols of power,  religion goods, musical instruments, posters, souvenir keys;
4) sport souvenirs: cups, souvenirs;
5) caskets;
6) souvenir miniatures: architectural, industrial, transport.

Collection of dishware includes the following thematic groups:

1) vases: decorative, floor, for flowers, for sweets, for fruits;

Carpets and felt products collection includes the following themanic groups:

1) portrait carpets;

2) subject carpets;

3) carpet products: carpets, rugs, panels;

4) felt products.

Collection of clothes includes the following thematic groups:

1) personal clothes of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev - Elbasy;

2) special clothes: sports, working, business, military;

3) national costume of the world's people;

4) gowns of domestic and foreign educational and scientific institutions;

5) head-dresses;

6) footwear.

Collection of textile products includes the following thematic groups:

1) household items: towels, table-clothes, napkins;

2) vexillology: flags, banners, standards, pennants;

3) souvenirs made of different types of fabrics and textile.
