Festival of children’s creativity “Zhas sheber”

June 3 – September 30, 2010
      The festival was devoted to Children’s Day and 20th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
      Within the limits of the festival was held ceremony awarding the winners of the drawings competition “Convention by children’s eyes” and competition of decorative-applied art “Doll”. More than 150 children from 12 regions of Kazakhstan, children of the employees of the Embassy of Russian Federation in Kazakhstan and Japanese cultural centre participated in the competition. The exposition of the best works is presented in the hall of the press-room on the 1st floor. “Balausa” folklore ensemble, “Aru” dance group (Children’s art school № 1) and “Nazerke” dance ensemble (secondary school № 61) showed their creativity to the quests and participants of the festival.
      Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in Kazakhstan Natsui Sigeo, representative of UNICEF Fikri Akhmed Singer, Secretary General of National committee on UNESCO and ISESCO affaires A.E.Utegenova and representatives of diplomatic corps of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and India were among the quests.
