Traditional meeting of Council of teachers

On June 20, 2014 traditional meeting of Council of teachers took place at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Members of council of teachers, representatives of Department of education of Astana, and also teachers of history of capital schools took part in work of meeting.

      On the agenda the following questions were taken out:
1.  Summing up work of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the 1st half-year of 2014.
2. The approval of scenarios of the lessons recommended for the publication in "The collection of museum lessons//2013-2014 academic year".
3.  Discussing plan for the 2nd half-year of 2014.
4. About carrying out the "round" table devoted to Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Summing up the results of collaboration of the Museum and Department of education of Astana for the 1st half-year of 2014 B. M Kaipova, chairman of Council of teachers at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy director of the Museum, candidate of historical sciences, said: "Within the Educational program 46 events were held, which 1242 persons were visited. Museum lessons, master classes, lessons excursions, a city seminar "Certification of teachers – a component of increase of skill of teachers", lectures, lessons meetings, city debating tournament" were carried out by initiative of the staff of the Center of museum pedagogy within a half-year.
    The moderator told about successful implementation of the Interschool museum project "Big Regatta" initiated by the Museum and created in a creative tandem of the Museum and member of council of teachers, teacher of history of “Kindergarten-school-gymnasium No. 46” T.V Makanova  in partnership with  colleague on school L.E Litvinova. Thanks to this game, members of crews of 16 capital institutions of education had a unique opportunity to visit 11 school museums of Astana, to know about the native land, life and activity of the well-known people who have made the significant contribution to history of development of Kazakhstan society.
    Teacher of primary school-gymnasium No. 4 A.K. Seydakhmetova expressed gratitude to the administration and to the staff of the Museum for possibility of using unique potential of the Museum about history of formation and development of independent Kazakhstan. Noting that each lesson at the Museum imposes special responsibility to the teacher, she told that she will conduct the first lesson for future first graders of school-gymnasium No. 4 "Constitution – support of Independence" on the eve of Knowledge Day.
     On the second question senior teacher of the Center of museum pedagogy A.A.  Ospanova  announced the list of authors of  the best museum lessons scenarios recommended for the publication in "The collection of museum lessons//2013-2014 academic year".
     In conclusion moderator made short summary of actions within the limits of Educational programme of the Museum, planned for the 2nd half-year: lectures, museum lessons, training courses  "Fundamentals of museum pedagogics" and  "Astanatanu", elective course "Elbasytanu". B. M Kaipova especially outlined a circle of actions devoted to Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and invited to take part in a "round" table.
Methodist of Department of education D. K Amirgaliyeva in her speech noted qualitative increase in professionalism of participants of experimental ground on certification of history teachers on the basis of the Museum and thanked the staff of the Center of museum pedagogy of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for given methodical help in preparation of museum lessons.
