International scientific-practical conference “Museum in modern society. Searches of new ways of development”

 On August 25, 2014 at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held an international scientific-practical conference “Museum in modern society. Searches of new ways of development”. The conference was devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Museum and was aimed at strengthening communication between museums and scientific centres, uniting academic and museum community.

   The participants of the section “Role of museums in formation of the historical consciousness of the younger generation” stressed the increasing role and place of museums in the conditions of globalization, as cultural - educational, scientific - educational centres in the preservation of historical heritage, the development of spiritual culture, education of patriotism and citizenship.

 
   As part of the conference program for the participants of the section “Role of museums in formation of the historical consciousness of the younger generation” was held a master class “Innovative forms of work in the educational activities of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
