Traditional meeting of the Council of the teachers at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The traditional meeting of the Council of the teachers at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held on November 21, 2016.

The members of the Council of the teachers, representatives of Astana Department of education took part in work of the meeting.

The following questions were considered on the agenda:

  1. Summarizing work of the 2nd semester of 2016.
  2. About holding competitions organized jointly with the Museum’s partners.

The deputy director of the Museum, candidate of historical sciences, Kaipova B.M. congratulated teachers with the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and summed up the results of joint work of the Museum and the Education Department of Astana for the 2nd semester of 2016.

On the eve of the Day of Knowledge at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for first-formers of school-lyceum No. 64 was held the lesson-holiday «Ата Заң – елдігімнің еңсесі» dedicated to the Constitution Day. The lesson was held at the museum exhibition «State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan», where during the stay of the President's residence exhibited Honor guard.

Within the framework of the annual Open Day with the participation of teachers, pupils and parents of Children's music school No. 1 of Astana was held four sessions. During of the lessons guests acquainted participants with achievements and prospects of development the State programme «Cultural heritage» and general principles of national idea «Mangilik El» initiated by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev. The participants visited the museum halls, where for them were held lessons-excursions: «Institute of batyr: tradition, status and arming» in the Security Council Hall, «The decorative applied art of Kazakhstan» in the Hall of the Dome hall, «Olympic champions of Kazakhstan» in the hall of Sport victories of Kazakhstan.

And also iIn the framework of the annual art-therapy sessions «Fascinating world of art» for children and parents of the PF «Balam-ay» of the Centre of social support of kids and youth with limited opportunities was held festival «Colours of Autumn». In 2016 on the session attended younger and older age groups: 3 to 34 years.

On November the debate club «Ақиқат» at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Department of Education of Astana held a debate tournament «Әлемдік қауымдастық таныған ел» among students of colleges of Astana, dedicated to 25th anniversary of Independent of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 17 teams from the colleges of capital participated in the tournament. Eventually, the places were distributed as follows:

First place – «АКТК тарландары» (College of Transport and Communications);

Second place – «Parasat» (Humanitarian College);

Third place – «Көшбасшы» (Humanitarian College).

The tournament for college students organized by debate club «Ақиқат» for the second consecutive year. In 2016 the debate was held on the basis of Akmola College of the Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications named after M. Tynyshpayev. It should be noted the excellent work in facilitating the debate of the teaching staff under the direction of Auesbaev Erlan Tynyshtykbaevich.

The head of the Center of museum pedagogy Kazbekova R.U. noted the importance of activities carried out jointly with partners within the educational program of the Museum.

On the second question, spoke Kaipova B.M. about the carrying out city competitions.

The employees of the Museum, jointly with partners were organized the following competitions: the best museum lesson «Қазақстан – халықаралық аренада», the best teacher «Independence - the great dream of ancestors, heritage of our generation», the best video «Annals of the EXPO», the II citywide creative competition «Innermost soul strings: song creation of N.A. Nazarbayev». At present, finished the collection of the results of the competition, conducted presentations. In December will be announced all the results. The employees of Education Department of Astana, the Regional Scientific and Practical Center «Астана дарыны», Municipal Trade Union of Education Workers «Adilet», the Palace of pupils named after Makhambet Utemisov.

During the meeting, the methodist of Education Department of Astana Amirgalieva D.K. noted that carried out in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan activities contribute to the growth of teachers professionalism, the development of their creative initiative, serve strengthening and development of mutual cooperation in the field of innovative orientation in the methodology of teaching the basics of social sciences, dissemination of best practices, expanding the sphere of scientific-based promotion of the achievements of independent Kazakhstan and historical role of its First President. Following the meeting, the Council of the teachers decided:

– approve the report of work results of the 2nd semester of 2016;

– continue joint work with partners to the preparation and organization of competitions dedicated to the Day of the First President and the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
