On April 28, 2017 at the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation was held the final and the award ceremony of the Competition of the scientific projects of pupils «Әлемді өзгертетін идеялар» / «Ideas сhanging the world».
The organizers of the competition: the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation and the Regional scientific-practical center «Astana Daryny».

The main purposes and objectives of Competition are:
- stimulation of scientific-researching and learning-cognitive activity of pupils, aimed at the study and implementation of the actual problems of Kazakhstan society in the framework of the Plan of the Nation «100 specific steps»;
- study of the level and main trends of scientific researches of pupils in the promotion and implementation of the ideas and initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation N. Nazarbayev;– выявление и поддержка наиболее талантливых и одаренных юных исследователей;
-identify and support the most talented and gifted young researchers;
-assistance to formation of intellectual potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Botagoz Kaipova is a candidate of the historical sciences and the chairman of the jury. She opened the awarding ceremony of winners of the Competition and said:
«The third year takes place the city competition «Ideas changing the world» among pupils of the 8-10 forms of capital schools within long-term partnership of the museum of the Library of the First President and the Regional scientific-practical center «Astana Daryny». It should be noted that a suggestion of the competition was made during a round table which was held on September 30th, 2014 in the Library of the Leader of the Nation.
The realization of the social project «Ideas changing the world» in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is held within a cycle of two-day seminars trainings, but in the museum of the Library together with the Regional scientific-practical center «Astana Daryny» are held annual city competitions of the scientific projects of pupils.

Last year the competition was devoted to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan. This year, of course, the competition is devoted to the forthcoming EXPO-2017. Following the results of the first selection tour the final was reached by 31 scientific projects in Russian and Kazakh languages. The key theme of the competition is first of all, projects of «green economy» which are important in the conditions of the modern globalized world. The models of the submitted projects are of special interest. Among the judges were Gazizat Imakova the candidate of political sciences, the associate professor of L. N. Gumilyov ENU, Zhusupbek Salikhodzha the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, the associate professor of L. N. Gumilyov ENU. It was very difficult for them to choose the winners, because practically all scientific projects were prepared at very high level».
The jury determined the winners of the contest in two ways: humanitarian and polytechnic.
Most part of the projects was focused on high technology, designed to improve the quality of life of society. Among them are the research projects with the themes: «ЭКСПО - 2017 көрмесі: SMART киіз үй - жаңа ұлттық келбет», «Қазақстанда Жел энергетикасын дамыту», «Күн сәулесі арқылы жеміс-жидектерді кептіру», «ЭКСПО - 2017 көрмесі: мәңгі жасыл жылыжайдағы күн энергиясы», «Құлап аққан судың энергиясымен жарықтанатын болашақтың үйі» and others.
Among the works of humanitarian cycle the jury noted the research projects aimed at the development of human capital, promoting the development of values of independent state: «Идея «Мәңгілік Ел» и историческая личность. Сходства и новшества», «Казахстанская модель толерантности на примере школы-гимназии № 2 имени Г. Каирбекова», «Н.Ә. Назарбаев шығармалары арқылы патриоттыққа тәрбиелеу», «Идея трехъязычия: казахский, русский, английский» and others.
