Exposition

The exposition and exhibition activity of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy (hereinafter - the Library) are implemented in the buildings of the Nazarbayev Center (1 A. Bokeikhan) and the Library (1a A. Bokeikhan Street), which make up a united museum and tourist complex.

Entering the building of the Nazarbayev Center, the visitor will be immersed in the atmosphere of a unique architectural object – the creation of Sir Norman Foster.

The exhibition halls located on the first, second and third floors of the Center display archival, book and museum materials reflecting the main stages of the formation and development of independent Kazakhstan.

In September 2020, the Library received its first visitors in a new building located at 1a A. Bokeikhan Street. The museum space consists of seven thematic exhibition halls where classical museum and modern multimedia technologies are combined: installations, holographic compositions in 3D format, electronic maps, mapping shows, touch monitors, media tables and much more.

Temporary thematic exhibitions are held in both buildings, both from their own collections and within the framework of partner projects.

Everyone can freely, in accordance with the established work schedule and current sanitary standards (all days of the week, except Monday, from 9.00 to 18.00, without lunch break, free of charge) visit expositions and temporary exhibitions.
