On this day in 1993, by the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the national currency of Kazakhstan – tenge - was put into circulation for the first time.
The national currency is the basis of the country's economic independence, a symbol of sovereignty, an integral part of modern history, and the future of the state.
Let me congratulate you on National Currency Day and wish all of us financial well-being, material stability, and new professional achievements for the benefit of sovereign Kazakhstan!
