The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host a literary hour "Copious writer" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh writer Dulat Isabekov.

The participants of the literary evening were teachers and students of grades 8-9 of the F. Ongarsynova Gymnasium No. 77 in Astana.

Within the framework of the event, a presentation was held about the life and work of Dulat Isabekov. In addition, a book exhibition dedicated to the writer's work was presented as part of the literary hour.

As the Head of State noted in his election speech: "Our main goal is to build a fair Kazakhstan. To do this, we need to take into account and correct the mistakes of the past, and solve the accumulated problems." The country will move to a new state policy, which will be based on three interrelated principles: a fair state - a fair economy - a fair society.

On the eve of the national holiday - Independence Day, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the final game of the intellectual tournament "What? Where? When?".

Among 20 teams of high school students of Astana schools who competed in the knowledge of the history of Kazakhstan, the finalists, having scored the most points, were the teams "Kyran" (gymnasium school No. 63), "Sirius" (gymnasium School No. 69 named after Kemel Akishev) and "Alash" (secondary school No. 24).

On the eve of Kazakhstan Independence Day in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Open Doors Day was held for 6th-7th graders of "Alpamys School".

Deputy Director of the Library Botagoz Kaipova told the guests about the main activities of the institution, focusing on the scientific and educational program, within which various events are held for schoolchildren, students, and teachers. 

The election program of Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev has shown the real challenges and goals of Kazakhstan. 

In the program, the President of the country pays priority attention to improving the well-being and quality of life of people, problems of the social sphere, and public safety.

At the beginning of his election program, the President announced that there would be fundamental changes in the economy, social sphere and regional policy. In this regard, a modern productive labor market will be created, ensuring high employment and social cohesion among people. 

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a literary evening “Erlik pen mahabbat zhyrshysy”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh writer Azilkhan Nurshaikov.

The participants of the evening were teachers and students of the senior classes of school-lyceum No. 76 in Astana.

Along with a presentation about the life and work of the writer, Galiaskar Sarybayev, a member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, shared his memories.

As the Head of State envisaged in his election speech, we have entered a new stage of our development. A stage with the President elected for a new 7-year long term. Moreover, in accordance with the new constitutional norm re-election is prohibited.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined his main mission as Head of State, which is the construction of a Just Kazakhstan, the dream cherished by almost every citizen of Kazakhstan.

In the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the next guest meeting titled "From the history of the development and adoption of the Law "On the national archival fund and archives" from the series of events "The History of Independence through the eyes of contemporaries".

25 years ago, on December 10, 1997, the city of Akmola (now Astana) was declared the new capital of Kazakhstan. On the eve of this anniversary date, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a visiting lecture "Astana is a symbol of independent Kazakhstan" for pupils of the capital school-gymnasium No. 7 named after G.Ormanov.
