This year marks the 110th anniversary of the birth of the talented poet, journalist, translator, playwright and composer Kasym Rakhimzhanovich Amanzholov.

Kasym Amanzholov was born in 1911 in the Karkaralinsky district of the Karaganda region. The exact date of birth is unknown, but the official birthday of the poet was October 10.

On October 26, 2021, the Library of Elbasy hold a lecture on the topic: "The capital city is a symbol of independent Kazakhstan" for schoolchildren of the 8th grade of a gymnasium - schools No. 46 and No. 47 of Nur-Sultan.

“The life story of Abylai Khan should be set as an example for the whole nation, especially for the new generation,” – wrote the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev in his article "The embodiment of Abylai's dream". This year marks the 310th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding political figure of the Kazakh people - Ablai Khan.

The Library of Elbasy continues the season of webinars on the topic "The path to the future begins with everyone". During these two days, school students from Karaganda and Pavlodar listened to the lectures of the institution's employees.

The students not only gained new knowledge, but also demonstrated their oratorical skills, leadership qualities, and presented the projects developed during special trainings.  

The Library of Elbasy held a lecture "Patriotism as a mental feature in a historical retrospective" for 6th grade students of the capital's schools №71 and №75 on October 19, 2021.

During an extracurricular lesson dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students were acquainted with the heroic past of Kazakhstan through the biographies of the great khans, batyrs and heroes of the Great Patriotic War, as well as significant historical events and dates.

Today Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Library of Elbasy. The guests were acquainted with the main activities of the institution and saw the exhibition halls of the museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy.

During the excursion, it was  noted that the Library of Elbasy, one of the tasks of which is to popularize the vast collection of the museum, pays great attention to the conditions for storing unique historical materials.

Today, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy held a quest tour for school students of the capital's gymnasium schools № 51, 86, 67 in the Museum of the Library of Elbasy on the right bank of the capital.

Today, in the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy opened an exhibition "Cultural Heritage of my country" following the results of the same name international contest among children and youth of Kazakhstan and Indonesia.

October 18 - Day of Spiritual Consent. The date dates back to 1992, when the first World Congress of Spiritual Consent was held in Kazakhstan.

Today, students of No. 51 Gymnasium school of Nur-Sultan took part in a quest-tour organized in the Library of Elbasy. The children demonstrated a deep knowledge of the history of Independent Kazakhstan, as well as the ability to quickly navigate and solve logical problems.
