The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the first qualifying game in 2023 of the intellectual tournament “What? Where? When?".

The project is designed for pupils of 10-11 grades of schools in Astana. The purpose of the competition for knowledge of the history of Kazakhstan is the development of cognitive and creative abilities, sharpness of thinking and observation, enrichment and development of students' speech.

In the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, another lesson was held from a cycle of theoretical and practical classes on the basis of the Library on the topic: "The procedure for managing documentation and ensuring the safety of archival documents."

The event was attended by 1st year students of the Faculty of History of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov.

Students got acquainted with the procedure for managing documentation and the conditions that ensure the safety of archival documents.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a literary hour, "Ulttyn uly ustazy", dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh poet, literary scholar, Turkologist, publicist, teacher, translator and statesman Akhmet Baitursynuly.

The participants of the evening were teachers and students of the 8th grade of the gymnasium named after F. Ongarsynova, No. 77 of Astana.

The event included a presentation about the life and work of Ahmet Baitursynuly, as well as a book exhibition devoted to the scientist's work.

At the end of last year, we became participants in an important event for our country - early elections of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held on November 20, when Kasym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev confidently won with 81.31% of votes. This has become a vivid indicator of the trust and readiness of Kazakhstan people to implement a global reformation of all spheres of the country's life in the name of building a New Fair Kazakhstan. 

On November 20, 2022 the elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place. This event has historical, and I would say, enormous political importance for the development of New Kazakhstan, based on justice and the rule of law. 

The dynamic and rapid development of socio-political processes in the country, and in the world as a whole, requires adequate reflection on the modern processes in our republic. 

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library and Museum celebrated Lady Bird Johnson’s birthday

On December 22, the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library and Museum celebrated Lady Bird Johnson’s birthday and enjoyed daylong holiday activities, and a special exhibit about first lady. Born in 1912, in Karnack, Texas, Mrs. Johnson was a wife, mother, grandmother, conservationist, political advisor to our 36th president, philanthropist, businesswoman, and first lady. Guests enjoyed special exhibits and different activities dedicated to the first lady.

It was full of difficulties that our people were able to overcome with their unity and wisdom, and achievements that resulted from the synergy of all Kazakhstanis. The trials of 2022 have undoubtedly made us even more united.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a visiting lecture "The Great Era of the Rise of the Nation" for students of grades 7-11 of the school-lyceum No. 88 in Astana.

A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The publications prepared as part of the implementation of research projects of the organization were presented to the members of the council for consideration.

Thus, the scientific fund collection "Kazakhstan and the Muslim World" is aimed at popularizing foreign policy achievements based on the peaceful and multi-vector policy of independent Kazakhstan.

In order to implement the election program of the President of Kazakhstan K.K.Tokayev, the republican headquarters has recently started its work. In this regard, the Government's roadmap for the implementation of the country's main political document is expected to be adopted.
