Nauryz, which is translated from Farsi as "New Day", from time immemorial, presents an uninterrupted connection of times and generations, symbolizes the spring equinox and renewal, brings people together, awakening a desire for peace, kindness and mutual assistance in their souls. 

During these days it is traditional to gather with family and friends at dastarkhan, to forgive offences and exchange good wishes.

 Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the opening of an exhibition and a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the republican children's and youth environmental drawing competition "The Red Book through the Eyes of Children", organized jointly with the Children's Art School - UNESCO Club in Astana.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the next guest meeting titled: "About the revival of Nauryz Meiramy" from the cycle of events "History of Independence through the eyes of contemporaries".

The guest of honour was the Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Archeology and Ethnology of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and ethnographer Ibadullayeva Zylikha.   

In the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for students of school-gymnasium No. 32 in Astana, a museum lesson was held "Institute of batyrism: traditions, status and weapons"

The event from the “Exhibits started talking…” series was organized in the “Gallery of Glory” hall, where a unique collection of weapons and military equipment is exhibited.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the QYF Volunteer Forum, organized jointly with the International Mental and Educational Center (IMEI).

IMEI is a branch of the International Institute for the Development of Intellect (Republic of Korea) in Astana, which implements educational programs for the development of personality and the formation of healthy thinking.

On the basis of the South Kazakhstan University named after Mukhtar Auezov, a zoom-tour of the exposition halls of the Library was organized for participants in the conference of the international winter school.

Among the participants of the international winter school were historians and experts from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

During the tour, all the exposition zones of the museum were demonstrated, information about the work of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was presented.

Like the first swallow, this bright holiday symbolizes the beginning of a long-awaited spring, bringing the harmony of awakening nature to our lives. 

On this day, in every house and family, words of love and gratitude are spoken to mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, girlfriends, and colleagues.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the opening of the “Art – muse” solo exhibition by the artist, teacher, member of Kazakhstan`s Union of Artists, member of Kazakhstan`s Union of Designers, “Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi” (the best in the field of culture) Altynshash Alpysbaeva.   The exhibition is organized within the framework of the Library's “Cultural сode of Independence" project.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an open day “Journey to the world of the museum…” for history teachers of BINOM schools in Astana.

The Deputy Director of the Library Botagoz Kaipova welcomed the guests. Having talked about the scientific, educational and cultural activities of the institution, she dwelled in detail on the directions and achievements of museum pedagogy.
