THE WORKS EXHIBITION OF YOUNG ARTISTS FROM THE SEMEY WAS OPENED

On February 21 of this year at the building of the Museum of the Elbassy library was held the opening of the diploma works exhibition of the graduates of the Children's Art School of Semey.

The opening of the exhibition marked the beginning of the Elbassy library’s new art program to support the children's creativity «My native land», which arose as a response to the program article of the Head of State «Spiritual modernization». The Children's Art School – the UNESCO Club of Astana is the partner of the program, in cooperation with it the successful project «View from Childhood» is realized.

The deputy director of the Elbassy library Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov in his opening speech noted:

– The education of respect for national values stressed the Head of State in his programmatic article «The Course towards future: modernization of public conscience». The Elbassy noted: «patriotism» begins with love for one’s land, for one’s village, city, region, with love for a small homeland. This idea formed the basis of a new program to support children's creativity, which starts today in the Elbassy library. Additional education of pupils, especially the development of all kinds of artistic creativity, becomes an important element in the education of a competitive, intellectual nation.

On the project «View from Childhood» our long-term cooperation with the Children Art School – the UNESCO Club of Astana, with charitable foundations and public organizations receives a logical development today. We saw the true scale of development of children's talents in all regions of the country. And this is the result of joint efforts of parents and teachers of art schools. The Elbassy library studying and promoting the ideas and initiatives of the Head of State, considers the promotion and support of children's talents as an important part of own activities. The future of the country is in your hands, guys! We look to the future with hope and pride, seeing how you are talented and inquisitive.

The main theme of the 2018program is the 20th anniversary of Astana. The many cultural events of the Elbassy library will be devoted to anniversary date, among the first ones – this exhibition.

Thanks to the program, residents and guests of the capital will be able to get acquainted with the best diploma works of pupils of children's art schools of the republic, and the participants of the program will have an opportunity to demonstrate their successes in art on such a high platform.

The master-class on the topic «Engraving on PVC. Landscape» of the teacher of the Children's Art School of Semey Zhenis Mukushev took place on the opening day of the exhibition.

– At the current master class the children got acquainted with the features of the engraving on PVC. This is always very interesting for children, because you are preparing one story, and very often it turns out quite differently. I have been working as a teacher for many years and I can say that the abilities of children are not limited. Simply, we can’t always disclose their talents. Our President said: «If a person works by hand – it's a hard worker, if he works with his hands and his head is an artisan, and if he works with his hands, head and feelings – he is an artist». Children are very sensitive when it comes to art. You can be taught children to everything. To find own approach to each of them and create conditions is the main thing, –Zhenis Madiyarovich said.

Director of the Children's Art School of Semey Kulgazi Rgelova spoke about the children’s achievements:

–Through the unification of the Children's Art School and the Children's Music School No. 2 was established the Children's Art School in August 2017. Almost 800 children are now studying. The art school has created its own traditions6 over the years. For example, the city olympiads in drawing for the pupils of the city schools «The World through the Eyes of Children» and «Nauryz»
