The museum regatta of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy was held from October 30 to December 11 this year. The fascinating event was attended by students of the capital schools. The final game and the solemn awarding of the winners took place in the new building of the Elbassy Library Museum.
At the first stage of the regatta, the crews consisting of seven people visited the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Military History Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the S. Seifullin Museum in Nur-Sultan.
The teams "Abaı urpaqtary" (No. 65 school-gymnasium), "Bolashak" (No. 83 school-gymnasium), "Alash" (No. 77 school-gymnasium) and "Kraken" (No. 71 school-Lyceum) managed to make it to the final game. At the stage called "Archipelago", students answered questions during the quest, which took place in the exhibition halls of the Museum. The children showed their knowledge about the history of independent Kazakhstan, the life and political activities of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy N. A. Nazarbayev.
The competition between the captains was of particular interest to the young participants. Young leaders had to show about the main attributes of the Navy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As a result, the title of "Best Captain" was awarded to the student of the gymnasium school № 65 Ayim Aspandiyarova.
According to the results of the competition, the crew "Kraken" from No. 71 school-lyceum was the winner and got the Grand Prix. They were awarded the Challenge Cup of the Library of Elbassy.
1st place - № 83 gymnasium school, "Bolashak" team;
2nd place - № 65 school-gymnasium, team "Abaı urpaqtary";
3rd place - № 77 school-gymnasium, team "Alash".
All participating teams received gifts and certificates.
The purpose of the museum regatta of the Library of Elbassy is to create an opportunity for schoolchildren to visit the school museums of Nur-Sultan, learn more about their native land, the life and activities of famous people who have made a significant contribution to the history of the development of Kazakhstan society. In addition, the regatta aims to foster the interest of schoolchildren in the study of the modern history of the motherland, the role of the First President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev in the formation and strengthening of sovereign Kazakhstan.
