«THE WAY TOWARDS THE FUTURE BEGINS WITH EVERYONE» - 2021

On February 10, a new season of training seminars "The way towards the future begins with everyone" started in the Library of Elbasy.

The participants of the first webinar were students of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

– For more than 5 years, since October 2015, the Library has been successfully implementing a project to organize two-day training seminars for students and schoolchildren throughout the country. To date, more than 10,000 students have participated in this project. The topics of the training seminars are updated annually, keeping pace with the socio-political agenda. Since 2020, due to the epidemiological situation in the country, two-day training seminars have been replaced by two-day webinars, which are held online. I would like to see you in our building, discuss and exchange views. But today’s realities dictate their conditions. In the course of the training, in addition to a series of lectures developed by our research staff, training and practical exercises will be held for you. The webinar is certified, and we are also implementing the practice of awarding letters of thanks "For the most interesting project" and "For active participation in the training seminar". This will be an additional incentive for students, said Director of the Library of Elbasy Bakytzhan Temirbolat, addressing the participants and expressed hope that the online meeting of students with lecturers and trainers will be held in a constructive, business format.

The training seminar for high school students, college and university students, teachers, civil servants, law enforcement officers is a specialized expert and educational platform for studying, explaining and popularizing the strategic initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and state program documents. In the course of training, attention is paid not only to theoretical material, but training is also held, allowing to emphasize the development of critical and project thinking, leadership qualities, teamwork, as well as to consolidate the lecture material through various exercises. The project has been successfully implemented for more than 5 years.

Having started its work in October 2015 under the general title "Ideas that change the world", the training seminar is updated on an annual basis. In 2017, the topic of the seminar was the idea of Elbasy "Mangilik El", analyzed in the historical, political, economic and ideological dimensions. The 2018 seminar was based on the article by Elbasy "Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity". In 2019, the seminar was called "The way towards the future begins with everyone". It was based on the messages by N.A. Nazarbayev "New development opportunities in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution", "Growing well-being of Kazakhstanis: increasing income and quality of life", his articles "Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity" and "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe", as well as the book by Elbasy "The Era of Independence".

In the program of webinars of 2020 reflected, except for program documents the major events and memorable dates the national and international levels: the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi, the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev and the international recognition of the outstanding role of Elbasy in solving global security problems - the awarding the status of a champion of peace and against nuclear tests, as well as the messages, and the article of head of state K. K. Tokayev.

This year, the country celebrates the 30th anniversary of Independence, the closure of the Semipalatinsk test site and the first presidential elections. These themes also became part of the structure of the 2021 webinars.
