VISIT OF UN RESIDENT COORDINATOR IN KAZAKHSTAN TO THE LIBRARY OF ELBASY

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy was visited by UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan Mikaela Friberg-Storey.

During the tour, the guest showed great interest in the museum expositions, asked many questions, trying to learn more about the history of Kazakhstan, in particular about the origin and development of the institution of the presidency in our country, the features of the political system. She noted the modern ways of presenting information of the museum of the Library of Elbasy and stressed that the multimedia expositions and the possibility of interaction with the exhibits allow to reveal and deepen the context of perception.

The visit also included a meeting between Mrs Mikaela Friberg-Storey and Director of the Library of Elbasy Bakytzhan Temirbolat.
The head of the Library informed the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Kazakhstan about the activities of the institution and presented the publication "Nursultan Nazarbayev. Biography".
The guest thanked the management and staff of the Library of Elbasy for the warm welcome.
