VISIT OF THE AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY OF UKRAINE P. VRUBLEVSKY TO THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Kazakhstan Pyotr Vrublevsky.

In the course of the visit, a meeting was held with the Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Temirbolat, at which issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

The head of the Elbasy Library told the guest about the main activities of the institution. B. Temirbolat noted that Ukraine occupies a special place in the labor path of the First President of Kazakhstan. In the period from 1958 to 1960, Nursultan Nazarbayev studied at the Technical School No. 8 in Dneprodzerzhinsk (now Kamenskoye), Dnipropetrovsk region.

The archive collection of the Library of Elbasy contains many documents, including the certificate of graduation of N. Nazarbayev from the school in the speciality of the blast-furnace man.

In his turn, Pyotr Vrublevsky noted the huge role of Elbasy in the dynamic development of the state and the high value of the political legacy of N. A. Nazarbayev for future generations of Kazakhstanis.

In memory of visiting the Library of Elbasy, B. Temirbolat gave to P. Vrublevsky the publication "Nursultan Nazarbayev. Biography".
