Aldiyar Zhumazhanov was 17 years old, when he went to China to study oilfield engineering there. He successfully graduated from a foreign university, mastered several languages and, thanks to his hard work and perseverance, managed to master one of the most demanded professions in the world. Today Aldiyar Zhumazhanov is a well-known specialist in the field of IT technologies, a successful developer of mobile games, the winner of the project "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan" in the "Culture" category.
Aldiyar became interested in video games in early childhood and knew in high school that this was the sphere of his future life. A big role in choosing a profession was played by his parents, who always supported their son in all his aspirations, whether it was the choice of music, clothing or books. The most important thing is the understanding of the family and relatives, Aldiyar Zhumazhanov believes, emphasizing that today's young people live in a golden time, when the doors of most universities in the world are open and ready to provide everyone with various scholarships.
"You just need to submit documents, write motivational letters, go through several stages of selection and become the owner of your dream scholarship. In the age of digital technology, knowledge requires only access to the Internet, patience, persistence and a desire to learn. To be competitive, one must speak at least two foreign languages, have two higher education and two different specialities. Believe me, this is an absolute guarantee of your marketability", says Aldiyar.
The sages of the Middle Kingdom say: "A straight foot is not afraid of a crooked shoe". At the very beginning of his life in China, Aldiyar had to work very hard. Difficulties, first of all, were in mastering the Chinese language. The only way to learn it was rote learning, which is about 5000 hieroglyphs, says Aldiyar.
"I’ve been interested in China since I was a kid, when I first saw a Jackie Chan movie. I’ve always wanted to know the history, the culture of these people. People in China may be somewhat less talented, but they are certainly more diligent and determined to succeed. They get up at five in the morning, and immediately get to work. They are incredibly hardworking, patient - that's their strength", he says.
Currently, Aldiyar Zhumazhanov continues to work as a division manager in one of the leading Chinese companies. He has many university friends from the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Nigeria, and South Korea. He says that in almost every province of China, you can meet a Kazakhstani who is engaged in business, studies, works or just travels.
To all young Kazakhstanis who dream of conquering their heights and achieving success, Aldiyar gives simple and at the same time effective advice: "Get up early, read a lot, play sports, learn languages. Youth forgives all mistakes, there is always an opportunity to start all over again. Life is given in order to make the most of your chance, and the advantage of young people is that it is always carte blanche for them, so do not stop dreaming and moving towards your goal."
"Participation and victory in the project "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan", which was initiated by the First President of the country N.Nazarbayev, is a great honor for me. I am grateful to all Kazakhstanis who supported me. This project provides an opportunity to draw the attention of Kazakhstani business to the field of mobile applications, investments in IT education. "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan" is a map of achievements of Kazakhstanis, a clear reference point for millions of young people who are changing their lives and the whole society for the better today," Aldiyar Zhumazhanov emphasizes.
