The project "100 new personalities" is a story of Kazakhstani people who have achieved real success in their favorite business. These are creative people, athletes, doctors, businesspersons, teachers, and many others. Project winners now inspire people with their own success stories.

The name of a successful corporate lawyer Aigerim Berekesheva is well known not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad. Less than a year ago, she opened her own law office in New York City, fulfilling her longtime dream. Aigerim plans to open an office in China, provide services to the giants of agriculture, production, construction, energy, and attract investment to Kazakhstan.
"I am 30 now. We started all this in 2012. For 7 years, we have achieved that we are now one of the major players in the field of law on the international market. We have offices in Kazakhstan, Italy and the USA. We plan to open an office in China. We want to connect the Great Silk Road through the legal field," said Aigerim at the ceremony honoring the winners of the 2019 project.
Aigerim Berekesheva, winner of the project "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan" in the Business category, graduated from Columbia University – one of the most famous and prestigious universities in the United States. Famous graduates and persons connected with the university are 4 US presidents, 97 Nobel laureates, 101 Pulitzer laureates, 26 foreign heads of state.

"After graduating from Columbia University, I completed an internship at the Ernst & Young office in New York. Returning to Kazakhstan, I got a job at Rosenblatt & Company. Very little time passed, and the partners told me that they see me as not just a lawyer, but a manager who works with clients," recalls Aigerim.
A. Berekesheva opened her own international law firm "ILF" Adilet & Alem in 2012. One of the first major clients of the company were the metallurgical company "Arcelor Mittal" and the construction group "Promstroykontrakt", followed by others thanks to good reviews. Today, our clients include such companies as Kazpost, OTIS, Viled Group, PetroChina, Prada Group Kazakhstan, Americana group (KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee's, T. G. I. Friday's, Costa Coffee, Baskin Robbins, Krispy Kreme) and others. Adilet & Alem has offices in Almaty and Nur-Sultan, and partner offices in Canada, Singapore, Milan, and London.

"We are not only engaged in one-time representation of interests, but also have long-term partnerships, for example, with OTIS. We handle all legal issues of the company on the territory of Kazakhstan, despite the fact that it is also served by KPMG and Deloitte," Aigerim says.
ILF Adilet & Alem is the only law firm that signed a memorandum with the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects, according to which it officially accompanies all projects with foreign investors in Kazakhstan.
The firm's projects include working with the largest financial regulators Nasdaq and SEC, supporting criminal cases in the United States and Great Britain, supporting the activities of companies directly working with tokens and cryptocurrencies, and developing artificial intelligence.
Aigerim is a member of the New York Bar Association and co-founder of the Consortium of Central Asia Development (COCAD) Association of Legal Entities. Founded in 2017 on the initiative of top European banks, the organization is engaged in financing Kazakhstani projects.
