Today, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy hosted an online training seminar for students of the Kamenskoye Higher Vocational School in Ukraine. The First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev studied at this educational institution in 1958-1960. The event was held within the framework of the International Scientific and Educational Project "Kazakhstan's Way: the Path to Achievements and Modernization", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.
Deputy Director of the Library of Elbasy Botagoz Kaipova addressed the Ukrainian audience with a welcoming speech. She spoke about the most important stages in the biography of Nursultan Nazarbayev and the history of independent Kazakhstan.
"In 1994, 34 years after graduation, Nursultan Nazarbayev came to his alma mater, which gave him a start in life. Then Nursultan Abishevich tried to see all those who took up a special place in his heart. These are classmates, teachers, including Nina Bykovskaya, a teacher of general metallurgy, and Lev Yezhevsky, a wrestling coach. Elbasy hugged his mentor and invited him to visit Kazakhstan. What joy and excitement Nursultan Abishevich experienced in the city of his youth can be seen in the photos stored today in the archive of the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan", B. Kaipova said.
In the school of Dneprodzerzhinsk, now the city of Kamenskoye, Nursultan Nazarbayev studied the skill of the blast-furnace man. In 1960, he finished his studies and at the same time became a Master of Sports of Ukraine. The Kamenskoye Higher Vocational School Museum kept Order No. 2 on the admission of Nursultan Nazarbayev in the speciality of a furnace blast furnace, and the book of students of technical school No. 8, where there is a record of Nursultan Nazarbayev's graduation from the school and assignment to a job at the enterprises of the Karaganda Council of National Economy.
In the course of the online seminar, the audience was shown a video about the activities of the Library of Elbasy, followed by a lecture on the topics: "The Era of Independence", "The Fourth Industrial Revolution", " Contribution to the development of mankind: Seven Facets of the Great Steppe", "Competitiveness is the key to the success of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the XX century". All listeners received certificates of completion of the training seminar of the Library of Elbasy.

Ilona Chmyhova, 2nd-year, future machine operator: "The training course taught me how to create projects, and I really liked it. The online format is interesting, but I would like to visit Kazakhstan and get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the people".
Ilya Ponomarenko, 4th-year student, future electric power engineer: "The culture of Kazakhstan is a rich heritage of the ancient people of Eurasia. Today I learned a lot about the life of Kazakhstan, took many good photos, which I will certainly share on social networks".
Alexander Smyk, 2nd-year student: "The seminar touched on many different aspects of cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The personal characteristics training was very useful. I think this experience is irreplaceable, and I will certainly find a use for it in the future. The information of the seminar should be available to the general public, it is very beneficial for personal development.

The purpose of the International Scientific and Educational Project "Kazakhstan's way: the path to achievements and modernization" is a comprehensive analysis of Kazakhstan's modernization model. The main objective of the project is to reveal the important postulates of Kazakhstan's modernization, analyze the proactive Kazakhstan foreign policy, generalize the principles and categories of international, inter-civilizational dialogue.
The Library of Elbasy also plans to organize an online seminar "Kazakhstan's way: the path to achievements and modernization" for students of Azerbaijan, Bashkortostan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
