ON SYMBOLS, HISTORY AND PATRIOTISM

In the Library of Elbassy a lesson "State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held. The students of capital school No. 2 got acquainted with the history of the formation of state symbols, their meaning and their role in the political life of society.

    

State symbols are the most important attribute of any country, the embodiment of history and culture, sovereignty and independence, unity of people and government. The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy N. Nazarbayev noted in his speeches: "At all times and among all peoples, state symbols have been the capacious and concentrated embodiment of statehood and independence. We have a majestic, ideologically rich State Emblem, Flag and Anthem."

At the lesson, the lecturer consistently told about the historical roots and deep philosophical meaning of each of the elements of state symbols. The use of unique photos, videos from the Personal archive of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy, allowed revealing the complex process of creating symbols.

All participants noted its great cognitive and practical value.

Murat Erkinbek, history teacher of school No. 2:

- As a teacher, I can note the high level of training and methodological skills of the lecturer. I would like to emphasize the active involvement of students in the discussion of issues, constant appeal to the audience that allowed children to reach their potential. The topic of the lesson is very interesting and relevant. It is such lessons that allow the younger generation to form patriotism, deep feelings of respect for political symbols, society, and the state.

- I really liked the lesson! I was surprised that there are so many constituent elements in state symbols and all of them have their own history, meaning, and significance. I especially liked how the lecturer spoke about 41 elements of the State Emblem

- For the first time, we were told in such detail about the history of the symbols of our state. We gained a lot of new and interesting information in the lesson. A wonderful lesson!

- I am glad that we have come today to the lesson. "The lesson was very exciting. All the participants actively answered the questions. I liked how the lecturer taught the class. I hope we will come back to the Library for a lesson.
