Today, the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy was visited by Ambassador of Brazil to the Republic of Kazakhstan Rubem Antonio Correa Barbosa. The distinguished guest got acquainted with the large-scale expositions that reveal the theme of the formation of modern Kazakhstan.
The halls, equipped with modern digital solutions, provide an opportunity to study historical documents, photos, videos and photo chronicles in detail. This is unique evidence of the formation of Kazakhstan's independence, the way of development and the building of the state, which is known all over the world as the "Nazarbayev model".
In the hall "The Way of the Strategist", the attention of the diplomatic guest was attracted by an extensive exposition about the main city of Kazakhstan. Here you can find information not only about the capital itself, but also about the future of the country in general. In an interactive format, you can see a scheme of development of a polycentric city until 2030, as well as materials about the history of the relocation of the capital, creating a master plan for the city.
"The history of Kazakhstan is featured here in a very interesting and informative way. The study of the formation of the capital – the city of Nur-Sultan is very important, because it is the history of a strong city, aspiring to the future. I especially liked the illustrations of how the capital grew and changed - how it was and how it became. It is no coincidence that in 1999 the capital of independent Kazakhstan was awarded the UNESCO "City of Peace" award. Today it is a major center where important political, economic and cultural events take place", the guest stressed.
After the tour, Ambassador of Brazil Rubem Antonio Correa Barbosa met with Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Temirbolat, where the parties discussed the dynamics of cooperation between our countries.
