"Round table" was organized together with Research institute of National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation.
The representatives of Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chiefs and research officers of Research institute of National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation, scientists, researchers, pupils of the Republican school "Zhas Ulan" named after the general S. K. Nurmagambetov took part in the work of "round table".
The director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Sagyngali in the speech of welcome noted: "A basis of success of our polyethnic and polyconfessional society is peace and accord, equality of all citizens and their common responsibility for destiny of the Homeland, unity and accord in the society. Not accidentally, 2015 is declared as the Year of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in honour of the 20th anniversary of its creation. 2015 is a year of the 20th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution, the 550 anniversary of foundation of the Kazakh khanate and the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory".
M. O. Serkpayev, the deputy chief of National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation, the chief of Research institute, the doctor of historical sciences, the assistant professor, the colonel in his speech told about role of the President of the country N. A. Nazarbayev in formation and making of Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and noted: "From the first days of creation of Armed Forces of the country the Head of state everywhere reminded officials of the management of defensive system that our independence needs reliable protection".
Speech of S. A. Konovalov, manager of sector of the Centre of strategic development and analysis of Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of sociological sciences was devoted to the social engineering of image of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev.
The participants of the "round table" also considered the issues of intercultural, interfaith and interethnic dialogue as a factor in ensuring continental security and stability; development of military education and science in accordance with the requirements of the President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev; interaction of Kazakhstan with the CIS countries on counteraction to the latest threats of national security; the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev in development of astronautics of Kazakhstan.
The participants of "round table" noted that ensuring national security is one of the most important priorities of each state, which intends to take a worthy place in the world community. It is right and for Kazakhstan which is among the sovereign states which clearly realized the national interests and built own hierarchy of internal political and foreign policy priorities.
The extremely important role in this direction is played by the President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev who made the significant contribution to the theory and practice of construction of the independent state. Harmonious and effective system of national security, corresponding to the spirit and needs of the global era was created under his direct management in Kazakhstan.
