A round table "Independence. Unity. Prosperity

A round table "Independence. Unity. Prosperity" took place on December 9, 2013 at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan within implementation of the scientific programme "The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev: the biography, initiatives and political credo".

      Deputies of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation, Nur Otan party delegates, the diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan, scientists, and researchers took part in work of a round table.

      During open and fruitful discussion the participants discussed topical issues of history of independent Kazakhstan, the main results and regularities of development of the republic for years of independence, initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev, and also noted actual problems of interethnic and interfaith tolerance in the modern world.

I.A. Adyrbekov, the deputy of the Senate of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Doctor of economic sciences in his speech told about foreign policy initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev which are the invariable base for ensuring development and prosperity of the state.

      The deputy of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Muradov A.S. emphasized an especial status of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan as the main mechanism of an interethnic accord.

Deputy of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan R. U. Kim noted: "Tolerance in our country is a decisive factor of unity and successful development of the state. In this regard, that multifaceted work which is carried out by Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan is very important. Assembly of people of Kazakhstan carries out the state policy in the sphere of the international relations, studying of the state and native languages, bringing up of the Kazakhstan patriotism, tolerance, a unification of the Kazakhstan people".

      Noting an especial place of national leaders among the persons who have become symbols of the time, F.S. Gadzhialiyev the first secretary of Embassy of the Azerbaijan Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in his speech, characterized Heydar Aliyev's role in formation and strengthening of independence of the Azerbaijan Republic.

      G. M. Kakenova, professor of chair of the international relations of the Eurasian National university named after L.N. Gumilev, noted in her speech that "initiatives of the Head of our state Nursultan Nazarbayev on problems of security and participation in peacekeeping missions are based on a clear understanding of that any state can't be sure of the security in the conditions of instability and the conflicts in any part of the world".

      Scientists-experts A.N. Kashkimbayev, a deputy director of institute of history of the state of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, candidate of historical sciences and S. I. Kovalskaya, a doctor of historical sciences, professor of chair of history of Kazakhstan of the Eurasian National university named after L.N. Gumilev discussed problems and prospects of development of historical science of modern Kazakhstan and formation of the concept of national history.

      Participants of a round table were unanimous that the interfaith world, economic and social stability and prosperity are important factors of preservation of statehood and country development.
