- The Library of Elbasy has been developing the children's art project "A Look from Childhood" for many years, publishing catalogs and albums of the participants' works, and organizing vernissages. In fact, this approach has created a reputation as an institution that creates a very large intellectual and organizational potential for promoting children’s creativity. Over the past four years, we have consistently held meetings with all children's art schools in all regions of Kazakhstan. The current contest is also a continuation of our previous activities in this direction. In the year of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Library of Elbasy, together with the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation and the Children's Art School - UNESCO Club of Nur-Sultan, invited pupils of art schools in neighboring countries to present an artistic interpretation of the most important concepts of the homeland, patriotism in the modern dynamic world. This is a kind of cut of the consciousness, the spiritual world of the generation that grew up in the conditions of independence of all countries of the post-Soviet space. The works provided reveal the full range of contemporary children’s artistic creativity, show the level of professional skill of teachers – managers of competitive works, said Deputy Director of the Library of Elbasy Kulyaisha Aktaeva.
Deputy Executive Director of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation Alkey Margulanuly, Director of the Children's Art School - UNESCO Club of Nur-Sultan Gulziya Isenova, member of the International Union of Art Teachers Dinara Nuger also took part in the awards ceremony.
Some of the winners could not take part in the event, but sent video messages.

- It is a great honor for me to participate in this contest. I am extremely glad that my work was recognized in Kazakhstan. I would like to express my gratitude and best wishes to you", said Dane Colin Balmonto, a participant from Bahrain.
- I have taken part in your contests of fine arts more than once and I am very glad that you appreciated my works. I congratulate all citizens of Kazakhstan on the holiday - the 30th anniversary of Independence! Thank you very much to everyone who wished me success, said in the video message Madina Umarova from Uzbekistan.
