"What should each of us do for the sake of the country's bright future? What depends on me? These questions arise when studying the works of Abu Nasr Al-Farabi. Thousands of years ago, it was said that love for the motherland, the land, and serving the people selflessly is the foundation of a successful state. These thoughts are still relevant today. Knowledge is the key to success. Al-Farabi said that a person reaches his goal only through self-improvement. It is my goal, says Izmir Konysova of №74 school-gymnasium.
Dilnaz Saparbekova of № 68 gymnasium school dedicated the "Second Teacher" of humanity verses and Toleutaeva Kalima of № 10 school-gymnasium noted that Al-Farabi's works should be included in the school curriculum because all the thoughts and sayings of the philosopher relate to the development of a person, his moral qualities, which children need to form already in elementary school.
Arapbaeva Nazira from school-lyceum № 53 also shared her opinion: "Al-Farabi’s works are the treasure of the world. A great man who lived and worked a thousand years ago managed to create such an important spiritual wealth, which does not lose its relevance even today! We, especially young people, should make sure that the works of the philosopher are known and appreciated by our future generations."
The winners and prize-winners of the contest will be awarded diplomas and memorable gifts, and the contest participants will receive certificates.
