RECENT BOOKS OF THE COLLECTION OF THE ELBASY LIBRARY

New editions entered the collection of books of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy. The exhibition features collections published in 2020, as well as rare publications, including, for example, "Zhambul. Songs and Poems", published by the Kazakhstan Publishing House of Fiction in 1937.   

On the bookshelves, you can also see the publication "Abai. A full academic collection of works, "Collection of quotes of great sages", "Abish Kekilbaev. Creation. Encyclopedia" and a number of other socially significant works. It is worth noting that the third volume of the publication "Abai. The complete academic collection of works" presents the scientific characteristics of the manuscripts of the works of Abai Kunanbayev, as well as a lithographic copy of the first collection of the poet, published in 1909 in St. Petersburg, as well as a sample of this work in the modern Kazakh language. 

Among new titles: the novel by Saule Doszhan "Qasіret pen taǵdyr", the book "Panfilov's people: our pride, our glory" by Laila Akhmetova, the book "Message of the Al-Farabi wind" Nurfer Terzhan, "You can hear the whisper of the stars. The secret book of the war hero, intelligence officer, space engineer, Lenin Prize laureate Mikhail Zhuravlev" and other publications.

A book "In the Kazakh Steppes" by Wardell John Wilford, as well as "Talgat Musabayev's Open Space" by Sara Kabikyzy are of great interest to the Library's readers. "Kazakhstan: The country of peace and harmony" is the title of a colorful photo book that tells about the history of the formation and current development of the multinational, multi-ethnic people of Kazakhstan, about the institutional foundations of the Kazakh model of social harmony and national unity.

The section "Current literature" has been replenished with following books "Lost Japan. How the culture of a great country disappears" by Alex Kerr;" How to talk to anyone, anytime, anywhere" by Larry King; "How the economy works" by Ha-Joon Chang; " Technologies of the fourth industrial revolution" by Klaus Schwab and others.
