Fascinating scenarios of quest tours were developed by the employees of the Library of Elbassy for schoolchildren of the capital. One of them, dedicated to the history of Independence of Kazakhstan, was held in the Museum of the Library for students of school-gymnasium No. 67 of Nur-Sultan and Koyandy village school. The game is based on the main messages of the Rukhani Zhagyru Program for the modernization of public consciousness.
The variety of approaches, questions and quizzes makes the quest program interesting not only for schoolchildren but also for adults. In the game, tasks are intertwined with stories and active games. Children are immersed in the world of knowledge from the first minute of the quest. This format makes it possible to strengthen the children's erudition and ingenuity, resourcefulness and ability to think outside the box. In addition, teenagers learn to work in a team and achieve goals.
"In the thematic quest tour, the main focus was on the history of the Independence of our motherland. The word "quest" means search. During the game, children are given a card. The player must be very careful. We prepare them rebuses and puzzles, various codes that need to be deciphered, in a word – non-standard tasks. This means that children learn to be patient, think logically and find the only correct solution", says Botagoz Ayapbergenova, an expert of the Excursion Service of the Library of Elbassy.
"In the quest tour, we made a trip that had nine stops. At each stage, we solved the problem by guessing the name of the city, and as a result, we got the word "Kazakhstan". The game was very interesting. The questions are easy, but the process itself makes you think, drawing conclusions. Both knowledge and speed of thinking are important here. Thanks to the organizers!", 7th-grade student of the gymnasium No. 67 Nazerke Akhmetzhan shared her impressions.
