QUEST TOUR FOR FUTURE COLLEAGUES

On February 4, in the museum of the Library of Elbasy, a quest tour "At the Dawn of Independence" was held for future tour guides - students of the College of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute.

Quest-excursions are one of the forms of the excursion, which consists in solving logical problems, searching for information and its application.

The excursionist not only takes part in the excursion but is also actively involved in the process, which favourably influences the learning of new information, makes it possible to feel involved with the events of the past.

At the beginning of the tour, the students got acquainted with the history of the independence of our country. Then they were given a map of Kazakhstan, which shows nine stops-cities. The young people had to build and follow the entire route to guess the word.

– Today we visited the museum of the Library of Elbasy, which used to be the residence of our First President, where he worked, where important political decisions were made. This is a historic building. It was very interesting for us to visit here, during the tour we learned a lot about the activities of Nursultan Nazarbayev. Of course, the scale of his personality, his contribution to the history of Kazakhstan's independence, and the achievements of our country are admirable. The quest tour very inspired the students of our college, they received positive emotions, Karlygash Nadim, an English teacher at the College of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute, said after the tourм.

A college student Malika Temirbulatova noted that during the visit to the Museum she learned a lot not only about the history of independence but also their future profession.
– It was very interesting to visit the office of the First President, to get acquainted with the valuable exhibits. I especially liked the quest tour, she shared her impressions.
