Almaz Ibragimov, fertility doctor from Nur-Sultan did not even know about his participation at the project “100 new faces of Kazakhstan”. Moreover, he amazed when he find out that he was among the list of winners in a “healthcare” nomination. In fact, there is nothing to be surprised about, hundreds of families on a daily basis get a long-awaited happiness of childbirth because of doctors as Almaz Ibragimov.
Almaz Kurmangalievich has graduated from Karaganda state medical university and now works as the director of the “Ecomed” clinic for human reproduction. From 2005 until 2007, under the “Bolashak” program has studied medical residency at “I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University”. He was born in a family consisted of five kids and at the situations when someone had got sick, he wished to be a good doctor in the future. Therefore, he already knew who he wants to become from the very young ages.
In 2005, Almaz Ibragimov has won the republican competition «the best among graduates of 2005 around Kazakhstani medical universities» and this was the beginning of a big path. Nowadays, Almaz Kurmangalievich has high authority and he is one of the strongest doctors in human reproduction area. Particularly, every day one or two child born at the branch located in the capital. Annually, the “Ecomed” clinic carries out approximately 1500 in vitro fertilization cycles.
“I always had a dream to be a good doctor and therefore, every day I try to develop my skills. I became deliriously happy at the moments, when parents send me messages directly from birthing suite and share moments of happiness on child birth with me. We are very happy that we help families make such dreams to come true.” Has said Almaz Ibragimov.
One of the core achievements of Almaz Ibragimov and of the “Ecomed” clinic under the guidance of well-known Kazakhstani scientist, Doctor Saltanat Baikoshkarova is the low stimulation method that does not make huge hormonal loads on woman’s body. Only similar natural conditions at highest level can lead to get a pregnancy. To get an egg cell without a narcosis, fertilize them and with minimum financial spending get same results as it works with complicated expensive programs is a great success. Nowadays, Almaz Ibragimov works on preservation of the fertility among oncology patients.
“It is widely known, that radiation therapy and chemotherapy most of the times negatively affect on human reproductive system. As an aftermath, both men and women could lose germ cells. Regarding this situation, people can use “cell freezing” process, in order to give a birth after recuperation” has mentioned Doctor A. Ibragimov.
Apart from Kazakhstani citizens, patients from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Germany, England, USA and even from Africa ask for help from Almaz Kurmangalievich. Besides high professionalism of the specialists, it is quite important that in Kazakhstan IVF process much cheaper than in Europe and USA.
The main priorities for Almaz Ibragimov are the minimization of the financial burden on patients and finding a better solution of sterility with low effect on women’s health. He is available for his patients 24 hours a day. Despite of the busy schedule, he does not miss any message and any call.
An author of 25 scientific works, keep increasing a quality of his own professionalism, by attending on a regular basis refresher courses at the leading universities around the world, participating and making reports at the international conferences. Logically, he has high authority among colleagues, as he shares an experience with younger generation and gives lectures for the residency students of the “Astana medical university” located in Nur-Sultan.
“I am much obliged to everybody who voted for me at the project “100 new faces of Kazakhstan”, because I feel this responsibility and very glad for it. Now, this responsibility increased to hundreds times more. Both of my dream and purpose are common. Everybody deserves to feel the happiness of being a mother or father. I feel happy, when I hear “You will have a child” from every person who came to me for a help.
