In December 10, 2014, the presentation of multivolume collection of selected speeches by President N. Nazarbayev in Kazakh language held at the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation.
The collection consists of 7 volumes each containing 9 books in correspondence with main stages of social, economic and political development of Kazakhstan. President's most public speeches of strategic and conceptual importance from 1989 till 2013 were selected for the collection. 
Public speeches of N. Nazarbayev are a valuable documented sources of the recent political history of Kazakhstan, presented through evolutionary political and philosophical views of President Nazarbayev – as a national leader, political figure and a major theorist and practitioner of state building. They reflect his views, vision and assessment of specific historical events, as well as issues of state building, social and economic modernization, national security, international relations, ways and prospects of development of our state.
The collection was prepared by the editing group led by the Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Makhmud Kasymbekov. While working on the publishing, a significant body of archival documents, transcripts and other materials were studied available in the Archives of the President, the Museum of the First President of the Presidential Administration, the central state organs, as well as previously published books, newspaper and magazine articles in the national and foreign press . In addition, there was a lot of work to translate a large volume of speeches from Russian into Kazakh, as well as clarification and introduction of a terminological apparatus into the state language. In the future, as materials will accumulate for subsequent periods the selection of speeches will be continued for the new collections. The presentation was attended by members of Parliament, scientific and creative intellectuals, social activists, teachers and university students, and journalists. 
In the context of presentation, the ceremony of issuing library tickets to the readers of the Library of the Leader of the Nation was held.
Today, the Library has built an extensive library fund, which is based on electronic digital publications. Along with the electronic funds of the Library itself, reader have an access to the largest digital libraries of the world. Among them, Library of Congress, Library of Oxford and Cambridge Universities, Russian State Library (former Lenin Library in Moscow), and others. In total, the Library provides more than 13.5 million books to its readers. In turn, the library card allows you to order the necessary literature and subsequent access to it through the most modern technology, including mobile devices. Among the first newly joined readers: a member of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurlan Orazalin, Kuanysh Sultanov, Aldan Smayyl, Yersultan Bekturganov; President of JSC "Yegemen Kazakhstan" National Newspaper" Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov; Academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Kenzhegali Sagadiyev, Bolat Komekov; Rector of the Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov; head of the research center for the study of heritage of Korkyt ata at the Kazakh National University of Arts Myrzatai Zholdasbekov; writers Akim Tarazi, Sultan Orazalinov, a poet Nesipbek Aitov; Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Khangeldy Abzhanov, director of JSC "National Research Medical Center" Abai Baygenzhin, professor of the Eurasian National University Garifolla Yesim, chief editor of "Aykyn" magazine Nurtore Zhusip, director of the publishing house "Sary-Arka " Kairat Aliev and others.
