On November 4, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of signing the Memorandum is to promote the ideas and initiatives of Elbassy, and to implement joint cultural, educational and research projects. The main forms of cooperation under the Memorandum will be joint research programs, organization of scientific and practical events (conferences, forums, seminars) and information exchange.
Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, Director of the Library of Elbassy, and Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, signed the agreement.
– I am sure that this Memorandum of Cooperation will allow expanding joint activities aimed at information and image promotion of domestic and foreign policy initiatives and global ideas of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy Nursultan Nazarbayev, a comprehensive study of the contribution of Elbassy to the development of Kazakhstan and promotion of global security throughout the world, - noted A. Rakhimzhanov.
In his speech, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov stressed the importance of working together with the Library of Elbassy for Kazakhstani education.
– The new building of the Elbassy Library Museum keeps the history of our country. The Museum is very well equipped with modern digital technologies. Here children will gain valuable knowledge, it is especially important in the context of the Program of the First President of Kazakhstan – Elbassy "Rukhani zhagyru". A lot of work has already been done, now it will continue within the framework of the current Memorandum. Students from schools, universities, and colleges will come to the Museum. In addition, round tables, symposiums, and conferences will be held. The work plan will be defined and I think these activities will exceed the scope of the Memorandum," Askhat Aimagambetov said.
In the course of the event, the book "Lectures of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy N. Nazarbayev at leading universities of the world" was presented in printed and electronic formats. The chief editor of the publication is Head of the Office of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy, Doctor of political sciences, Professor Makhmud Kassymbekov.
A presentation video was shown, which introduced the contents of the book, its goals and objectives, and included clips of video presentations of lectures of Elbassy at leading universities around the world.
The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was given a book and an electronic version of the publication for transmission to higher education institutions of Kazakhstan, as well as books prepared by the writing staff of the Library of Elbassy.
