Today, in the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, within the framework of the Kazakhstan Way project, the presentation of the book "El Zhane Elbasy", prepared by JSC "Republican Newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan", and the opening of the photo exhibition "Sovereignty and Elbasy", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place.
The event was attended by prominent statesmen who made a huge contribution to the formation of independent Kazakhstan - Myrzatai Zholdasbekov, Kuanysh Sultanov, Oralbai Abdykarimov, Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov.
Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Bakytzhan Temirbolat delivered a welcoming address.
"Over the years of Independence, the newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan" has become the main chronicler of a young, sovereign state. The most important historical milestones and events of our country are presented on its pages, these are materials with deep analysis of what is happening in the life of Kazakhstani society, as well as fair criticism and assessment. The book "El Zhane Elbasy" and the photo exhibition "Sovereignty and Elbasy" are the huge and painstaking work of the entire team of the newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan", to whom we wish new creative achievements and inexhaustible inspiration!", B. Temirbolat said.
The photo exhibition features about 50 photographs that highlight important milestones of the activity of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev on the formation of modern Kazakhstan with its own model of development of an effective economy and political system, on strengthening civic identity, interethnic understanding for harmonization of interethnic relations.
"The photographs on display are the work of well-known photojournalists of the country from Egemen Kazakhstan and Kazakhstanskaya Pravda - photojournalists Shukur Shakhai, Igor Burgandinov, Yuri Becker, Orynbai Balmurat and Yerlan Omarov. I want to thank them for their contribution to history. There were a lot of photos, it was difficult to choose out. We tried to choose the most important ones that captured the beginning of Independence, the formation of state institutions, the adoption of state symbols, the flight into space of our cosmonaut, the relocation of the capital and other events of Kazakhstan's history," said Darkhan Kydyrali, Chairman of the Board of the Republican Newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan".
Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the collection "El Zhane Elbasy", published in the series "Egemen Kazakhstan kitaphanasy", took place.
The publication includes articles by associates of Elbasy - statesmen and public figures about the personal, business qualities of the founder of modern Kazakh statehood N.A. Nazarbayev, published in the newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan".
The book consists of 4 sections
1. The article of the President of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev "Lessons of historical personality" and articles of Kazakhstani political and public figures are published in the section "Architect of Freedom".
2. The section "Architect of Statehood" presents the memoirs of intellectuals, poets, writers, scientists and other figures of art and culture about the wise personality who created modern society.
3. In the section "Elbasy and the capital" there are articles by state and public figures telling about the contribution of Elbasy to the construction of the capital.
4. The section "Visionary politician" contains reflections, opinions of world politicians about the place and role of Elbasy in global politics.
