On October 23, in the new building of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy, a personal exhibition of the famous painter, member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kazakbay Azhibekuly "In Search of an ideal" was opened.
Famous people of art attended the event: Kamil Mullashev and Omurali Ismailov, composer Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov, musician Bekbolat Baysagatov, poet Duletkerey Kapuly and others.
The exhibition features about 30 works by the artist created between 1997 and 2020. The early period of creativity is reflected in paintings dating back to the late 90s of the twentieth century. The works of the last decade reflect the creative and personal evolution of the author. The desire for perfection, the ideal in art, which is characteristic of the artist's work, determined the name of the exhibition.
Kazakbay Azhibekuly reflects the main line of creative searches of Kazakhstani artists - the revival of the traditional origins and spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people. Every anniversary of Independence is an incentive to analyze the past as a condition for a dynamic movement towards the future of the country, citizens of Kazakhstan. And this is felt in the colors, the movement of the brush of K. Azhibekuly, significantly different from the manner of the works of the early period.
– It is deeply symbolic that at the dawn of the formation of a new generation of the creative intelligentsia in the capital, Kazakbay Azhibekuly was among the young artists who arrived in the young capital of independent Kazakhstan at the call of the First President of the country – Elbassy N.Nazarbayev. And today it is his personal exhibition - the first of a number of exhibitions of works of fine art, presented within the walls of our beautiful new building. I would like to give an example of the statement of Elbassy: "The people who value art and cherish talents stand always head and shoulders above the rest." The artist's personal exhibition features a variety of works created in different periods, and this is clearly visible. But the main, central work of the exhibition, we consider the painting "Astana tany". This picture is not by chance written in the best traditions of realistic art, which allows you to place bright semantic accents. It is very deep in its symbolic and substantial content, most vividly showing the image of a new Kazakhstan, a young capital, a new phase in the life of all Kazakhstan society. Today Kazakbay Azhibekuly is a well-known master, whose works have repeatedly received high awards and recognition. The fact that his works decorate the interiors of the Akorda residence speaks volumes. We are proud that the museum collection of the Library of Elbassy contains five paintings by the author, four of which are presented at this exhibition, said Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, the Director of the Library of Elbassy, at the opening of the exhibition.
– I would like to note that when visiting the museum of the Library of Elbassy, we learn the whole history of the formation and development of our independence. We understand what kind of country we managed to build together with the First President of Kazakhstan. That we have today as a legacy of our history. Therefore, I would like to express my gratitude to the employees of the Library of the First President for the work they are doing. It is wonderful that today an exhibition of our contemporary is opening here, one of the most wonderful, interesting, in my opinion, artists of Kazakhstan, who passionately loves his country and his people and wants to show the whole world its traditions and customs, said Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov.
According to Kamil Mullashev, the talent of K. Azhibekuly especially showed itself in the first years of the capital's formation.
– As a talented artist, he has long been known outside of Kazakhstan. It is very important that fans of painting in other countries learn the culture and history of the Kazakh people from the paintings of Kazakbay Azhibekuly. Because his works are unique in their warmth, harmony and light. They find their way to the heart of every connoisseur of beauty", he stressed.
The author of the exhibition Kazakbay Azhibekuly expressed gratitude to the management and employees of the Library of Elbassy for organizing the opening day, and also thanked the guests present.
The exhibition "In search of an ideal" will run until November 1, 2020.
