OPEN DAY "JOURNEY TO THE WORLD OF THE MUSEUM..."

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an open day “Journey to the world of the museum…” for history teachers of BINOM schools in Astana.

The Deputy Director of the Library Botagoz Kaipova welcomed the guests. Having talked about the scientific, educational and cultural activities of the institution, she dwelled in detail on the directions and achievements of museum pedagogy.

“Since 2004, since the founding of the Museum of the First President, we have been actively working with educational institutions. The established practice of interaction with schools and the Department of Education already in 2009 resulted in the creation in the museum of the first and only certification platform in Kazakhstan for teachers of history and social disciplines. Having unique educational opportunities, the Library of the First President is always ready to provide you with methodological and content assistance, including platforms for conducting open lessons”, - B. Kaipova noted.

The participants of the meeting were presented with museum lessons “Batyr Institute: Traditions, Status and Armament” and “Kazakh Musical Art”, as well as a lesson in the format of a seminar-training “Electoral System in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, designed for different age categories of schoolchildren.

The teachers showed an active interest in the topics of the presented classes, the methodological techniques used and the resources of the Library and discussed projects for further cooperation. They also had a tour of the halls of the museum.
