October 18 - Day of Spiritual Consent. The date dates back to 1992, when the first World Congress of Spiritual Consent was held in Kazakhstan. Representatives of all religions, as well as famous scientists and cultural figures gathered in Almaty, who adopted a manifesto urging to declare October 18 as the Day of Spiritual Consent.
The unity and harmony of the people of Kazakhstan is the main value of an independent state, the most important principle of which is respect for the religious feelings of citizens.
The Almaty Congress, organized on the initiative of the First President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, became the starting point for further peacemaking initiatives of Elbasy, among which a special place is occupied by the congress of leaders of world and traditional religions.
The head of state K.K. Tokayev said: "Our main wealth is prosperity and unity, stability and tranquility, peace and consent".
For the Day of Spiritual Consent, the Elbasy Library prepared a video, the purpose of which is to strengthen the spiritual values of the multinational people of Kazakhstan for the benefit of the further peaceful and successful development of the country.
