The Museum collection of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy was supplemented with memorable gifts presented to N.Nazarbayev by representatives of embassies and diplomatic missions of foreign countries.
The panel "Arhar" is made of marble in the technique of Florentine mosaic, known since the late Renaissance. The Florentine mosaic differs from other types of mosaics by its unique technique of linkage of separate parts when the seams between them are almost invisible. This panel is a memorial gift from the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kazakhstan Khairullo Ibodzoda.
Vases have existed since time immemorial. Once they served as objects of worship, then they served as decor in the interior. The prototype of the vase was a primitive clay vessel for storing water. A large group of the collection of vases in the Library museum consists of decorative vases from world-famous Turkish porcelain factories, vases from Chinese and Japanese porcelain, and vases from European manufacturers. Made of faience, porcelain, glass, and stone by masters from China, Turkey, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, these vases reflect the fashion and tastes of their time. In the new arrival - a decorative vase made of crystal "Aurum Crystal". This exhibit is a gift from Ambassador Rudolf Gikl of the Czech Republic.
Among the new exhibits is also a coffee service from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, made at the Yıldız Porcelain Factory. The set has a tray, two cups with plates.
