A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE LIBRARY OF ELBASY AND THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN WAS SIGNED.

Today, the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The purpose of the document is to create conditions for the implementation of scientific, educational and information projects on Kazakhstan’s foreign policy, international relations and global and regional security. The Memorandum was signed by Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Bakytzhan Temirbolat and the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shakhrat Nuryshev.

During the event, B. Temirbolat noted the importance of strategic cooperation between the Library of Elbasy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Over the years of Independence, Kazakhstan has established diplomatic relations with 182 countries of the world, becoming a member of all key international organizations. Kazakhstan, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, continues to work tirelessly to strengthen international peace and global security. Popularization of Kazakhstan's achievements, ideas and initiatives of the First President N. A. Nazarbayev in the world space is our common goal. In close cooperation with the Ministry, the Library of Elbasy has carried out a number of large, joint projects in the last six months alone. Among them - the presentation of the book "The Heritage of the Great Steppe" in Turkish, the International Conference "OSCE Astana Summit 2010: Historical Significance and Relevance" to mark the 10th anniversary of the OSCE Summit in Astana and the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. I believe that the current Memorandum will open up new horizons and opportunities for us in promoting the image of Kazakhstan and N. A. Nazarbayev's global strategic initiatives around the world", the director of the institution said.

In turn, Sh. Nuryshev elaborated on the possibilities of further bilateral partnership.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has established close relations with the Library of Elbasy. Today's Memorandum is special. I am sure that within the framework of this interaction, the coverage of the foreign policy activities of our state will gain new facets, because the policy of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, N. A. Nazarbayev, is the basis of many international initiatives of our state", Sh. Nuryshev.

The Library of Elbasy is aimed at expanding international cooperation. In this regard, the further fruitful cooperation of the Library with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan will undoubtedly give impetus to the process of popularizing the creative ideas of Elbasy and the achievements of Kazakhstan over the years of Independence.

The meeting discussed the main forms of cooperation. The parties agreed on mutual assistance in implementing common programs, holding socially significant events, exchanging information and experience, and expanding contacts with international organizations and foreign diplomatic missions.
