MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF THE LIBRARY OF ELBASY

The Council of Teachers of the Library of Elbasy summed up the results of the 2020-21 academic year. According to Deputy Director of the institution Botagoz Kaipova, the scientific and educational program of the Library of Elbasy covers all areas of museum pedagogy developed for pupils of secondary schools and representatives of various categories of the population.

The range of events held in the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is quite wide: lessons-excursions, masterclasses, webinars, art therapy seminars for children with special needs, and much more.

The purpose of the scientific and educational program of the Library of Elbasy is to deepen the knowledge of schoolchildren and students on the modern history of Kazakhstan, the history of the formation and development of the Institution of the Presidency, as well as to conduct practical classes. This year, the program was updated. In particular, there were such projects as "The Legacy of Elbasy: creative ideas and strategic initiatives", "Spiritual revival: traditions and innovations", "Atameken". Each of the projects is aimed at working with a specific age group.

In connection with the pandemic, the Library of Elbasy, along with offline events, actively conducts events in an online format. At the meeting, the Pedagogical Council was briefed on the activities carried out in the first half of 2021.

The members of the Pedagogical Council shared their opinion on the importance of the educational processes carried out within the framework of the "Tugan Zher" program, which is based on the large-scale articles by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N. A. Nazarbayev "Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity", "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe", as well as "Independence above all" by Head of State K. K. Tokayev.

A. S. Khamitova, the history teacher of the Nur-Sultan Lyceum School No. 60, reported in detail on the implementation of the inter-museum project "Big Regatta". This event is aimed at studying the history of the motherland through the knowledge of the chronicles of the native land.

This year's inter-museum regatta was held at a high level – the capital's schoolchildren had the opportunity to visit the museums of the capital and conduct their own research on the life and activities of famous people who contributed to the prosperity of Kazakhstan's society.

The regatta is a new incentive for self-development, improvement of knowledge, skills and expansion of horizons. This project will continue in the coming school year.

In conclusion, A. S. Khamitova stressed that the Library of Elbasy is the leading institution in Kazakhstan, which is active in the field of museum pedagogy.
