Summer is not only the time of school and labor holidays, but also a great opportunity to enrich your inner world with knowledge about the history of the statehood of Kazakhstan and the world.
The Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, located in the buildings of the Nazarbayev Center (A. Bokeikhan St., 1) and the Elbasy Library (A. Bokeikhan St., 1a), will help you with this.
The building of the "Nazarbayev Center" is already, in itself, a unique architectural object - the creation of Sir Norman Foster. In the exposition spaces located on the first, second and third floors of the Center, archival, book and museum materials are presented, reflecting the main stages of the formation and development of independent Kazakhstan.
If we talk about the museum space of the Elbasy Library, it consists of seven thematic exposition zones, where classic museum and modern multimedia technologies are combined: installations, holographic compositions in 3D format, electronic cards, mapping shows, touch-monitors, media tables and much more.
Both buildings host temporary thematic exhibitions from their own funds and as part of partner projects.
Our museum-tourist complex allows you to make an exciting and informative journey through the pages of history.
