THE LIBRARY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN – ELBASY HAS PREPARED A VIDEO DEDICATED TO THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan was founded on June 1, 1946. In 1946, a prominent public figure, world-famous scientist, founder of Kazakhstan school of geologists, Academician Kanysh Imantayevich Satpayev was elected the first President of the Academy of Sciences.

On October 20, 2011, Day of Science Workers of Kazakhstan was established. This date was April 12, the birthday of K.I. Satpayev.

Since its inception, the Academy, which has become one of the largest intellectual centers in the country, carries out extensive research on the development of the richest natural resources, makes a significant contribution to the development of productive forces of the country, to solving major problems of economic, social and spiritual development of Kazakhstan society.

At present, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a recognized member of a number of major scientific organizations of the world.
