The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy announces an open creative competition of team projects among students of secondary schools "Tugan zher - tugyrym, tugan zher - otanym".

The purpose of the competition is to involve students in conducting scientific research to preserve and popularize the cultural and historical heritage of the country and people through the study of important pages in the history of their small homeland and its historical figures.
The competition is held in the following categories:

1. "Menin shezhirem // My genealogy" (popularization of the heritage of the Kazakh people, presentation of their genealogy, relatives).
2. "Kasietti elim // Native land" (representation of special places, stories, traditions, legends, etc.)
3. “Menin kishi otanymnyn tarihi tulgalary // Historical figures of my small homeland”.

Teams of students (3-5 people) of secondary schools of the republic of two age categories can become participants: from 12 to 14 years old and from 15 to 17 years old.
An application for participation in the competition is the publication of a video in the social network Instagram in Kazakh or Russian languages with a duration of no more than 5-7 minutes with the hashtags #малаяродина #творческийконкурс #БиблиотекаЕлбасы or #туғанжер #шығармашылықконкурс, #Елбасыкітапханасы (all 3 hashtags are required depending on the language, on which the video is voiced). The video and the caption under the video (post) must contain information: nomination, locality, name of the school, full name of the participants, one contact number. Publication of materials on Instagram - until March 25, 2022.

The finalists and winners of the competition will be determined by the jury members from among the representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia.
The announcement of the winners and the award ceremony will be held on April 22, 2022 at the Elbasy Library. The winners will be awarded by diplomas and memorable prizes.
