THE LIBRARY OF ELBASY HOSTED THE SESSION "MUSEUM ECOSYSTEM: LESSONS FROM THE PANDEMIC"

Today at K. Satbayev Binom school the opening of the visiting excursion project "Tungysh" and the exhibition "New Kazakhstan: quality education - a synthesis of traditions and innovations" took place.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and K. Satbayev Binom school, students of the school, as well as representatives of the parent committee.

An important direction in the implementation of our Library’s cultural mission is the organization of thematic traveling guided tours and exhibitions based on its own funds. One of such large-scale projects is Tungysh traveling excursion project, which has been implemented since 2017. During this time, the project took place within the walls of 7 universities, 4 schools, 11 institutions in 7 regions of the country.

“At the initiative of the Head of State, the current year 2022 has been declared the Year of Children. At all times and in any society, education was valued very highly. After all, education not only ensures the transfer of knowledge from generation to generation and, accordingly, their continuity, but most importantly, it is a key factor in the progress of mankind. Therefore, the successful future of New Kazakhstan is largely based on how competitive and advanced the education that our children receive today will be. And here much depends on the interaction of school, family and society. Within the framework of today's exhibition, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents valuable documents and exhibits that reveal the history of the formation of the traditions of education and the prospects for the development of the education sector in Kazakhstan as the basis for the development of an intellectual nation”,- said Bakytzhan Temirbolat, director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The 2022 project at Binom school is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov, Kazakh educator, linguist, literary critic, poet and translator, public figure. Within the framework of the project, the fund exhibition “New Kazakhstan: high quality education – synthesis of traditions and innovations” will be launched, consisting of two sections.

The section The origins of education and culture in Kazakhstan presents museum items, archival documents, photo and video materials that reveal the history and culture of the early nomads.

The section Intellectual Nation demonstrates materials on the development of the education system in modern Kazakhstan.

As part of the excursion project, following thematic traveling guided tours will be presented: “The origins of the steppe melodies”, “Sports glory of Kazakhstan”, “Revived treasure”, “The history of writing and the evolution of writing implements”, a quest tour “The spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people”, “New Kazakhstan: high quality education – synthesis of traditions and innovations” tour, a selection of video tours.

During the tour of the exhibition “New Kazakhstan: high quality education – synthesis of traditions and innovations”, the audience got acquainted with its sections in detail, where 57 museum exhibits and 45 book editions were presented.

A cycle of 5 video tours is dedicated to the topic of historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.

 “The Origins of the Steppe Melody traveling thematic tour is intended for primary school students (grades 1-4) and is aimed at the aesthetic and musical education of children. Music is an important means of creative, mental and physical development of children. “The Origins of the Steppe Melody” tour is dedicated to the national Kazakh instruments and involves not just a narration, but live communication with children, joint study of instruments, the possibility of tactile perception.

 “Revived Treasure” thematic tour based on exhibits from the museum’s funds, archival documents and specially prepared presentation material is designed to clearly demonstrate the way of thinking of the ancient inhabitants of the territory of Kazakhstan, who left a bright mark on the history of mankind. The ancient nomads who inhabited the vast expanses of gave the world such technologies as metalworking, the construction of monumental places of worship under the permafrost and the manufacture of weapons. This thematic tour is intended for the students of the lower secondary school (grades 5-6).

 “Sports Glory of Kazakhstan tour is aimed at creating an interest in sports and a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation. During the tour, students got acquainted not only with the achievements of Kazakhstan athletes on the world stage, but also took memorable photographs with personal items of famous champions - awards, sports equipment, personal belongings. Tour is intended for the lower secondary school students (grades 7-8).

“The history of writing and the evolution of writing implements” thematic tour is intended for the higher secondary school students (grades 9-11). The development of civilizations is inextricably linked with the emergence of writing, demonstrating the general level of cultural development. This guided tour allowed schoolchildren to pay attention to ordinary writing instruments as a source of information and knowledge.

During the quest tourSpiritual heritage of the Kazakh people students in a playful way got acquainted with the spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people, which became the basis for the development of the ideas of enlightenment in Kazakhstan.

More than 500 students of K. Satbaev Binom school, teachers, parents visited excursions of various genres, immersing themselves in the museum environment and enriching their knowledge base with historical information about the development of our country.
