Today, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy held a quest tour for school students of the capital's gymnasium schools № 51, 86, 67 in the Museum of the Library of Elbasy on the right bank of the capital.
The purpose of a fascinating and informative tour is an expansion of horizons, the formation of a team spirit and leadership qualities, an increase in the competitiveness of the younger generation, prepared on the basis of an article by the First President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev "Looking into the future: modernization of public consciousness".
As part of the thematic quest tour "At the Dawn of Independence", school students took part in the historical and local history game "Love and Know Your Land". During the game, school students learned about the huge and systematic work of transferring the capital to the Saryarka steppe, the projects of the world famous architect Norman Foster, implemented in Nur - Sultan, the central object of the EXPO-2017 exhibition – "Nur Alem" pavilion, the Baiterek monument, and answered the quiz questions. The use of exhibits, unique archival documents and photographic materials contributed to the disclosure of the topic and the assimilation of new material by the school students.
“I was glad to take part in a quest tour organized by the Library of Elbasy. Today we consolidated the knowledge that we receive at school within the walls of the museum with the help of an interesting presentation of information and visual materials. We plunged into the history of our country and our capital”, - shared her opinion Rabiya Armanova, a student of the 8th grade of school-gymnasium № 67.
