From February 26 to March 3, 240 Directors of secondary schools studying at the advanced course at the Center for Pedagogical Excellence of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools visited the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan-Elbassy.
In the capital, school principals from all regions of Kazakhstan are taking advanced training courses on the program "Leadership and management in a secondary school of the Republic of Kazakhstan", which aims to modernize the sphere of general secondary education in the context of the implementation of the State program of education development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The goal of the program is the professional development of heads of educational organizations on the basis of the world's best pedagogical approaches in educational practice.
After welcoming words, Deputy Director of the Library of Elbassy Botagoz Kaipova introduced teachers to the activities of the institution and the main areas of activity. Then the participants of the advanced training courses listened to lectures by leading researchers of the Service for social, humanitarian and educational projects on the program articles of N. Nazarbayev "Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity" and "Seven facets of the Great Steppe". Tours were also provided for guests.
- I liked everything here very much - exhibitions and expositions of the Nazarbayev Center, exhibits, including a huge number of books, gifts of Elbassy, and awards. Many thanks to NISH JSC and the Library of the First President for organizing lectures and excursions. The topic of lectures is very relevant, I believe, especially for teachers who teach and educate new generations of Kazakhstanis. In my opinion, the education of a child should begin, first of all, with the education of love for the Motherland. We, teachers, work for the good of the country and such educational, broad-minded events are very important for us, said Denis Vedel, Director of the Nazarov secondary school of the Shcherbakty district, Pavlodar region.

- I have a great impression of visiting the Library of Elbassy. Here we learned a lot about the diverse activities of the Library of Elbassy and our First President, facts from the history of our country's independence. And what we have seen and heard here has a direct connection with the course that we are taking at the Center for pedagogical excellence. At today's lectures in the Library of the First President, we comprehended what tasks are facing the modern society of Kazakhstan, how we can contribute to the implementation of the ideas of Elbassy, laid down in his articles. This is very valuable information for teachers. We will try to convey our new knowledge to colleagues and students and use it directly in the educational process.
