The Library of Elbasy held a lecture "Patriotism as a mental feature in a historical retrospective" for 6th grade students of the capital's schools №71 and №75 on October 19, 2021.
During an extracurricular lesson dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students were acquainted with the heroic past of Kazakhstan through the biographies of the great khans, batyrs and heroes of the Great Patriotic War, as well as significant historical events and dates.
"Studying the history of our country is gratitude to our ancestors for everything that we now have. As Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev said: "There is almost no corner on the endless Kazakh land that is not covered with legend. No locality without history, no area which is not the holy land", the lecturer noted.
The children listened with great attention and interest to the lecture about the Kazakh batyrs who defended their native land from invaders, the Khans-rulers of the Kazakh people, as well as the famous warriors of the Great Patriotic War, who are natives of the Kazakh land and who are united by love for their homeland and people, and a willingness to fight for them even at the cost of their own lives. The listeners also were acquainted with the concepts of "patriotism", "shezhire", learned about the title "Khalyk khakarmany" and its owners, the republican project "100 new faces of Kazakhstan".
"The lecture was interesting and informative. We learned about many historical heroes-patriots who defended our motherland and made a contribution to the establishment of the independence of our country" - shared her impressions of the lecture Karina Medenova, student of the 6th grade at Lyceum School №71.
