A LESSON IN THE MUSEUM OF THE LIBRARY OF ELBASSY

Students of the gymnasium № 83 were invited to the Museum of the Elbasy Library. An unusual lesson covered a wide range of topics: it was talked about history, present and future of the country, about patriotism. The children recalled the great khans, the famous batyrs, those who sacrificed themselves for the sake of freedom, who can rightly be called patriots of Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to the heroes of the World War II.

The lesson was more like a discussion platform where children actively asked questions, shared their opinions and demonstrated a high level of knowledge and broad outlook. This atmosphere was created by the lecturer and research officer of the socio-humanitarian and educational projects of the Library of Elbasy Zhazira Koshumbaeva. On the example of historical figures, she was able to reveal with the guys the theme of patriotism and love for our people.

It is worth noting that students are easily "involved" in the process largely due to the excursion. Before the lesson, they walked through the halls of the Museum - the first residence of the President in Astana.

Gregory Pyateev, a pupil of 6 "M" grade of the school № 83:

- For the first time I learned about many Kazakh batyrs, their exploits and tragic destinies. I am impressed by the Museum itself: there are many amazing exhibits, interesting excursions, amazing atmosphere! It seems that you get into that period - the doors are about to open and the Ministers will leave the offices.

Daniel Zaporozhets, a pupil of 6 "M" grade of the school № 83:

– In our city a lot of streets named in honor of the warriors. I live in such on and I am proud of it - in Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev street. For the first time I got to this Museum, I liked the fact that it is preserved the atmosphere of those times: furniture, equipment, documents. Most of all I liked the collection of weapons presented to the President. Especially daggers and swords with handles in the shape of a lion's head.
