A JOURNEY THROUGH HISTORY FOR YOUNG RESIDENTS OF THE CAPITAL

Within the framework of the scientific and educational project of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy “Museum and Children. ABC guide for the little ones" for the pupils of the capital's kindergarten № 35" Fairy Tale" held a museum lesson on the topic: "My genealogy is a particle of the genealogy of our country".

Museum lessons contribute to a sense of tangible contact with the secrets of bygone eras, help to combine knowledge about the environment, develop communication and social skills of children.

During the lesson, which was held among the exhibits of the Security Council hall in the building of the museum of the Elbasy Library on the right bank, the kids got acquainted with the concept of the “Institute of Batyrism”. They consolidated their new knowledge by examining the reconstruction of the equipment of the Kazakh batyr and a set of military weapons, widely known as "bes karu" (five types of military weapons).

In addition, photographs from the Personal archive of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev were presented for the pupils.

“The children liked the lesson in the museum very much. The topic of the lesson is very relevant, as it awakens a great interest in the study of the history and culture of Kazakh people, contributes to the education of patriotic feelings. I would like to express my gratitude to the Library of Elbasy for organizing the museum lesson”, said the Head of the kindergarten Lyazzat Rakhmenova.
