The international scientific-practical conference devoted to memory of National leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Alirza ogly Aliyev "Heydar Aliyev. Personality and epoch"

The international scientific-practical conference devoted to memory of National leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Alirza ogly Aliyev "Heydar Aliyev. Personality and epoch" took place on May 6, 2014 at 3.00 pm.

      The conference was organized by Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Embassy of Azerbaijan Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      The representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan, government agencies, scientific community took part in international scientific-practical conference "Heydar Aliyev. Personality and epoch".

"Independence, ensuring integrity and the sovereignty of the state are connected with  name of the National leader of Azerbaijan and it is written with gold letters to the contemporary history of Azerbaijan and all former Soviet Union", – the moderator of conference, the director of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alma Sagyngali noted.

It is known that N. A. Nazarbayev and G. A. Aliyev were good friends. The history of diplomatic relations between our republics totals more than 20 years. Present level of the relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan is a result of ten years of joint activity of two leaders.

       Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zakir Arif oglu Gashimov noted in his speech Heydar Aliyev's role in establishing and strengthening the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan. "Being an outstanding socio-political personality, statesman and leader of his people, Heydar Aliyev, during his life became living legend," – Z.A. Gashimov.

       K.M. Kazkenov, Ph.D., professor, academician, director of the Centre of the analysis, forecast, social initiatives of "Nur Otan", president of the International coalition "CivicPeace" told in his speech about historico-philosophical comprehension of fate of Heydar Aliyev, his role not only for the Azerbaijani people, but also the Turkic world and the world community.

      Grateful human memory is a basis of continuity of generations and preservation of traditions and history of any people. V. K. Salakhov, the doctor of historical sciences, professor, the chairman of "Union of the Azerbaijani Cultural Centres of Kazakhstan" in his speech stopped on personal qualities of National leader of the Azerbaijani people: "Height of which Heydar Aliyev's name reached in political, private life and in the human plan has to be an eternal example for generation of Azerbaijanians who follow him".

       Summing up the results, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Z.A. Gashimov thanked the Museum administration for high level of organization of this action and emphasized importance of carrying out conference at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
