Today, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy hosted an international scientific and practical online conference "Nazarbayev Model: strategic cooperation and global dialogue" dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by representatives of international organizations, well-known Kazakhstan and foreign scientists, and ambassadors of foreign countries.
The conference was moderated by Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, Director of the Library of Elbassy. Speaking in the plenary session with the report "Kazakhstani way: the uniqueness of formation and proactive development", A.Rakhimzhanov noted five main categories that make up the "Kazakhstani way": a comprehensive approach to modernization processes; balance, which is the quintessence of the evolutionary path of development of Kazakhstan; continuity, manifested in following the global socio-cultural, technological progress, continuity and globality.
"Responding to the challenges of the time, cooperating and exchanging experience with the most developed countries of the world, Kazakhstan has always maintained and defended its own national position, offering the most optimal solutions to problems in acute situations. Strengthening as a subject of international relations and an important actor in the global world, the country, under the leadership of Elbassy, achieved the goal of well-being and prosperity of all Kazakhstanis. This is a proactive foreign policy, which is one of the main points of the "Kazakhstan way", A. Rakhimzhanov stressed.
In his video message to the participants, Vladimir Norov, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, noted: "The model of the country developed by the First President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev and consistently implemented, the implementation of political and socio-economic reforms, the implementation of the concept of social harmony and national unity, the development of state and public institutions is of great interest in many countries of the world. His authoritative and fair voice is carefully listened to at the UN and other authoritative platforms where topical issues of our time are discussed. Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev stood at the origins of the SCO and made an outstanding contribution to the development and strengthening of the organization, increasing its status and authority in the international arena", V.Norov said.
Darkhan Kydyrali, President of the International Turkic Academy, Doctor of historical sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, made a report on the topic "Architect of Turkic integration".
"Thanks to the powerful impulse that Elbassy gave to the process of reviving national history, we were able to strengthen our roots and restore the past. The historical memory of our people has revived. Thanks to the large-scale state program "Cultural heritage", unique documents from foreign archives were discovered and obtained, and research was conducted that filled in the blank pages in our history. The implementation of the global programs of the nation: "People in the flow of history", "Cultural heritage", "Rukhani zhangyru", "Seven facets of the Great Steppe" provided the basis for the spiritual revival of the nation, the accumulation of valuable experience. These initiatives of Elbassy became an incentive for the revival of self-consciousness not only of Kazakhs, but also of the entire Turkic community, and served as the basis for creating a unified Turkic world in the new century", D. Kydyrali stressed.
Gregory Gleason, Professor of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, participated in the conference. In his report, the scientist noted: The "Nazarbayev model" is the most successful development program, which has been demonstrated over the past 30 years. This model is successful not only in the post-Soviet space, but also around the world. This is a great achievement that is widely acknowledged. The "Nazarbayev model" has global significance, especially now, when the world order is at the stage of transformation."
According to Yuri Solozobov, Director of international projects at the Institute of National Strategy of Russia, the "Nazarbayev model" has already allowed Kazakhstan to realize a unique historical chance to become a successful state and an influential actor in international relations."
"Nursultan Nazarbayev's initiatives are always unexpected and relevant. They are striking in their global scope and surprisingly accurate political foresight. No wonder the term "Nazarbayev model" appeared in the world political science. I would define it as a set of effective and sometimes paradoxical strategies. This is the author's model of Elbassy as a successful world politician and reformer, a wise peacemaker and the father of Eurasian integration", Y. Solozobov shared his opinion during his speech "Nazarbayev model: a new strategy for global dialogue".
The event was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saidikram Niyazkhodzhayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mihai Galoshfai, Deputy of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elman Nasirov, Head of the Department of International Organizations and Integration Associations of the Institute of Foreign Policy Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madina Jarbusynova.
The conference discussed political, economic, legal, historical, cultural, sociological and other aspects related to the foreign policy initiatives of Elbassy, multi-vector peace-loving policy of Kazakhstan.
