MUSEUM OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

INFORMATION LETTER

      On November 21, 2011 the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts the international scientific-practical conference «Way of independence: history, realities and prospects», devoted to the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
      During conference it is offered to discuss pressing questions of gaining of independence and building of new statehood, a role of strategic initiatives of the Head of the state – the Leader of the Nation N.A.Nazarbayev in the development of the independent Kazakhstan; prospects and directions of social-economic and policy-legal modernization of the country; and also research and cultural-educational potential of the museums of the historical profile at the present stage.
      During the conference is supposed the work of the sections in the following directions:
      • Historical role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nazarbaeyv N.А. in the formation and the development of the independent state.
      • Kazakhstan and the contemporary world: pressing questions of sociopolitical, historical-cultural and economical development.
      • Role of the museums of the historical profile in the formation of the socio-cultural area.
      Conference languages – are Kazakh, Russian and English.
      All costs of conference participants from other regions are made by directed party.
      It is necessary to give application until the 1st of August, 2011 to enable report in the conference. In the application you should indicate your full name, degree, rank, position, organization, contact addresses, the theme of the report.
      The texts of the reports are accepted until September 1, 2011. Please observe the following requirements to the text:
      - the volume is no more than 6 pages in Microsoft Word, font Times New Roman, size 14, interline interval - single;
      - paragraph – 5 mm, indent of the paragraph is set automatically;
      - margins: top and bottom - 20 mm, left - 30 mm, right - 15 mm;
      - name of an author and the name of an organization - in the right corner;
      - title of a report in capital letters is placed below the centre;
      - quotes - «». As mentioned dates of centuries are indicated in Roman numerals, years - in Arabic;
      - to level the basic text of article – on wideness of margin.
      - footnotes to the scientific sources are should be in square brackets with ordinal number according to list of used literature at the end of the text: 1. Nazarbaev N.A. In the heart of Eurasia. - Atamura, 2005. - P. 26.
      - to provide a list of abbreviations with explanations abbreviations in alphabetical order;
      - to provide a personal list in alphabetical order.
      We are going to publish scientific materials after the conference.
      The organizer committee reserves the right to reject materials that do not correspond to the conference theme or requirements.
